Class Policies

1. Pre-pay for all classes and camps to register and guarantee your participation. Classes are open to everyone until all spots have paid deposits.

2. There are no make-up classes. You may get another child to fill in for your child and have that parent reimburse you for the cost of the class or classes missed.

3. Please come on time so that your child can see the demonstrations.

4. Parents may choose to stay in the yard. In honoring each child's creativity, please do not interfere with their process.

5. The non-camp sessions consists of four to six classes, 1¼ hour each. Camp sessions are 4 hours a day for one week and are offered throughout the summer.

6. Please let me know of any food allergies. Children are welcome to bring their own snack.

7. All classes and camps are for children genuinely interested in clay art. If your child is not ready to focus during the class period on being creative with clay, they are not ready for the programs offered here. Disciplinary problems will not be tolerated as they are a distraction for others there to learn and create clay projects. I do not want children running around in my garden as it is difficult to supervise safety when out of my view. If any disciplinary problems arise, the final decision on whether a child is ready for the program lies with the teacher.

8. Dress your child in play clothes (they will get clay on them). A big baggy t-shirt is essential. An extra sweatshirt or sun hat is sometimes needed.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping me create a safe and creative space for your child.
