Wendy's Biography

Welcome! Let me introduce myself - my name is Wendy and let's get straight to the juicy facts:

I am passionate about clay and I love working, playing and creating with children. I began teaching by filling in for my mother's nursery school classes and working summers as a camp counselor for children.

I pursued my artistic desires by taking lots of ceramic and other art classes at the college level and continue to do so today. I completed and graduated with honors from the Early Childhood Education Program at Cabrillo College. I have taught at Escuala Pacifica Home School and Loma Prieta Independent Home School Program, and volunteered in classrooms at Bay View Elementary School for four years offering various performing and creative arts projects.

I now offer ceramics instruction for kids and adults in a small pottery studio located in a garden setting on the west side of Santa Cruz.
